La Dissidence Française (website) is an ultranationalist movement established in 2011 by Vincent Vauclin (b. 1989, a former militant of the radical left) and registered as an association in 2013.
The movement claims "a radical breakdown from the modern domination and the resulting institutions: La Dissidence Française does not have a bank account, does not recognize the 'Republic', and calls for systematic abstention in elections". La Dissidence Française promotes "a radical doctrine, at the crossing of nationalism; anti-capitalism, and traditionalism".
The informal group was eventually transformed into a political
party in autumn 2018. Two weeks later, two noted members of the
Rassemblement National (RN, formerly, Front National, FN) in Le Havre, Damien Lenoir (head of the RN group in the Municipal Council, also
Regional Councillor of Normandie), and Baptiste Gueudin (Municipal Councillor), left the RN to join Dissidence Française..
The party, self-styled "the only anti-system party", pimps a
"conservative revolution", as a "national and social alternative",
founded on the themes cherished by ultra-nationalist movements
(identity, nationality, integral sovereignty...).
The party obtained 4,835 votes (0.02%) in the 2019 European Parliament election.

The emblem of Dissidence Française, introduced in 2016, is the
"spearhead", symbolizing the "movement's dynamism and vanguardist and
futurist aspiration".
The upper lightning represents the movement's doctrine and principles,
while the lower lightning represents action and empowerment. Their
conjunction initiates a straightforward direction, a direction and a
dynamic, recalling the decisive change approach of Dissidence Française
and the willingness to conciliate grassroots activism and doctrinal
education.

The party also uses red vertical flags charged with the party's emblem (photo, photo).
